Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Capt. Jefe runs a 28' Walkaround with room for 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Capt. Jefe has rods and reels for you. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Jefe Cruz showed us a great time getting us on the fish while feeding us knowledge of the area and fish species. boat and equipment were perfect for our group of 4. Capatin kept us entertained while being attentave taking care of taking fish off line and rebating. just an awesome time even with windy rough water conditions. thank you JC for a great time and experiance. till next time. Half Day Trip on October 25, 2026 • 4 adultsCaught over 30 fish mostly Trigger Fish. Saw Whale sharks, dolphins, sea lions, and Pelicans( Mexican Turkeys). Jefe was a great guide and even got my sister-in-law to fish and catch.
