Spend the day with MK Fishing Charters and find out what the fishing in Milwaukee is all about! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Bill can tell you all about them.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and whatever else is biting. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 28' Luhrs sportfishing vessel with space for 7 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. Bill will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Your trip with MK Fishing Charters is just a click away, so why not make it happen?

We had a great trip from start to finish. Captain Bill went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and Quintin, the first mate, was on it the entire time keeping the lines working and helping us land fish. I took my son out for the trip and we had a phenomenal morning on Lake Michigan. We caught some great salmon, including a 12.4-pounder that my son landed — and yes, he officially out-fished his dad. Great crew, great experience, and a trip we will definitely remember. I would absolutely recommend Captain Bill and Quintin to anyone looking to get out on Lake Michigan

Great day on the water. I caught so many fish! I was happy to get back to the dock because my arms were sore from fighting so many fish. I’ve been out with a lot of guides. It’s always nice to see the captain and crew working to put me on the fish. The captain did not sit still and I could tell he wasn’t going to be satisfied until I caught my limit (then some). He filet them up and sent me off. If you’re looking for a good boat, crew, and gear at a very reasonable price, this is it.

Captain Bill and Pam 🫶🏽 amazing crew Trip started off a little slow, but by the end of the night, my arm was sore 💪🏽 pulled in a salmon and some rainbow trout MONSTER. we are looking to book our next trip soon. wish I got more pictures, but busy reeling fish in but memories were made with our fathers. Thanks captain 🫡
Bill is a number one. He is very experienced and explains everything to you. Very nice guy and our trip was amazing! Will come back for sure.
was a first experience for me and my family and we will be coming back for more! Bill and Pam went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, we totalled 15 fish between the 4 of us, made my sons 10th birthday something he will always remember!
Besides catching a lot of fish. The experience was unique thanks to cap Bill.
Captain Bill and Pam were helpful, fun, and were so knowledgeable. We had 7 people and each of us caught 2 fish. This was the first time for 4 people on the boat and it was a wonderful trip and experience.
