On the day of your trip you're likely to drift using light tackle
BS Fishing Charters welcomes kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!
Your trip begins aboard a 22’ Bay boat with space for 1 to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Full day inshore fishing trip on October 26, 2026 • 2 adultsWe headed out to Crystal River on a pretty windy day, so much so that we practically had the water all to ourselves with no other boats around. While we are not new to fishing, this was our first time targeting redfish and snook, and Captain Brody made it a great experience. The boat was very comfortable and handled the choppy, windy waters with ease, keeping us safe and stable. Captain Brody really knew his stuff. When something wasn't working, he adjusted on the fly and took us to multiple different spots until we found where the fish were holding up. We ended up catching quite a few redfish (smalls and keepers), a really nice snook, and a handful of catfish and ladyfish to keep things interesting. Since we were flying back to Maine the next morning, we released all the fish, but it was a blast catching them. If you want a hard-working guide with a top-notch boat who puts you on fish even when the weather isn't cooperating, books with BS Charters and Captain Brody. We had a blast!

Half day inshore fishing trip on September 29, 2026 • 4 adultsMy family and I had a great time fishing with Captain Brody today! Caught a variety of fish including red drum, salt water trout, a few sharks and a nice variety of others. We saw a huge sea turtle as well. Captain Brody had a lot of patience with us and even filleted our fish to bring home. He was very knowledgeable regarding his surroundings and knowing the best places to catch the fish. We hope to come back next year!

4-6 hour scalloping trip on August 22, 2026 • 6 adultsOur scalloping trip was cut short, murky water and light rain. Captain Brody offered to take us to the springs, which we joyfully accepted. Some springs you can only get to via watercraft. The weather got worse but we had a great experience.

First stop baits in the water and hooked up about 5 reds in about 30 minutes on to next spot. Then to next spot and it was the honey hole, caught about 35 reds in about 1 and half hours along with about 20 lbs red drum. Finished out the day fishing and catching trout. Capt Brody was very attentive and on fish the whole trip.
