Spend the day with 180 Charters and let me show you what makes fishing in Lake Charles so memorable!
These waters are known for Flounder, Speckled Trout, Redfish, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself!
Expect a mix of spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, and other specialized techniques depending on the target. Nighttime trips are also available, fishing around lights or looking for Flounder along the banks.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children are required to wear a life vest, so please bring one that fits properly and is comfortable for them to wear.
Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly. Basic snacks like chips and water will be available on board, with specific requests available upon request. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.
You'll be dropping lines from a 22' bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials a fishing machine can't run without.
All rods, reels, and lures are provided for your trip.
Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, and guidance through the process is available if needed.
Trip details can be adjusted to fit your goals and preferences, including departure and return times, target species, and fishing methods. Just let the captain know what you have in mind, and the trip can be tailored to make it a memorable experience.
And that's it! Your fishing trip with 180 Charters is just a click away. Feel free to reach out upon booking if you have any questions or special requests.

tate was awesome . had a great trip
We were able to catch trout and redfish. I took two of my boys and one of their best friends. We had a blast. The captain is very friendly. We enjoyed it very much.
we caught some keeper speckled trout, 2 black drum, a bunch of cats and other fish. Captain took us all over and we had an awesome time!
If you want to fish and most of all you want to catch fish, this is your guy. He was very nice respectful and you can tell that he has a lot of knowledge about fishing and his job. He has a passion for fishing and I could see it by just talking to him. He's a great captain and can get you a lot of fish. I don’t get to fish a whole lot anymore and most of the time I simply just don’t care for it, but he made the trip fun and made me reconsider going for a full day next time.
We did manage to catch a couple of nice keeper reds & spec and a lot of under the limit fish that we threw back. However, we did not limit out on fish; we did limit out on fun and laugher. And like always that big one the broke the pole in half and popped the line got away. Great Memories.
Reds, specs, flounder and lots of em!! Fishing guide was knowledgeable, professional, focused, and laid-back, had a great time with another adult and two kids. Highly recommend without a reservation.
