La Bella 

Fish Destin with Captain Blake aboard La Bella, a fast 40' custom Berkey center console built in 2017 and powered by twin Suzuki 350s. She cruises at about 30 knots, so you spend less time riding and more time fishing. Every trip is private: the whole boat is yours, for up to 6 guests.

Captain Blake has fished Destin for 26 years and runs the boat himself, so your group gets his full attention all day.

Choose the trip that fits your day. The 6-hour trip works the productive water closer to Destin, and the 8-hour trip adds range to reach more productive grounds. The 10 and 12-hour trips head far offshore for bigger fish. Depending on the season, regulations and conditions, you might hook into red snapper, gag, red and scamp grouper, amberjack, king mackerel, mahi-mahi, yellowfin tuna, wahoo and, on the longest trips, swordfish. Captain Blake picks the spots and the technique on the day: bottom fishing, jigging, trolling or light tackle.

Everything you need is included: rods, reels, tackle, bait (live bait when it's available) and ice, and your fishing licenses are covered, so you don't need to buy one. Fish cleaning is included when you get back to the dock.

On board you'll find a restroom, Bluetooth music and full USCG safety equipment, including a life raft, emergency beacon and satellite communication. The boat can accommodate guests with disabilities, and trips are family friendly with no age limit.

Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, snacks and drinks. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. We depart from Ships Chandler on Destin Harbor; parking is limited, so please come in one vehicle if you can.
