Fish a serene Catskill mountain lake! These waters are known for trophy Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Bluegill, Catfish, Crappie, Yellow Perch, Chain Pickerel, and more.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll be casting lines from a 17' Bass boat that can carry up to 2 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Catskill Hideaway Fishing Retreat on August 10, 2026Thank you 5 starts captain Dee! Within an hour we’ve caught 11 fish including my personal best smallmouth bass: 3.6 lb!! We also pulled in several largemouth, crappie, perch and pickerel- bit so those fight! We will come again, thank you Emerald and Captan D!
