Cubera fish CR
Cubera fish CR is here to show you the stunning waters of Golfito. With Captain Felipe at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Cubera Snapper, Frigate Tuna, Goliath Grouper, Common Pandora, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Vermilion Snapper, Silver Trevally, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, and whatever else takes the bait.
During the trip you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Capt. Felipe operates a 24' Sportfishing that holds up to 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be some light snacks included on board.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Cubera fish CR!
