Make lasting memories in Clackamas County with BDC Guide Service. We offer Spring Chinook, Fall Chinook, and Coho Salmon trips, as well as winter Steelhead fishing and crabbing adventures. When in season, we also offer razor clamming trips.
Top targets include Crab, Shad, Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Cutthroat Trout, Dolly Varden, Yellow Perch, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Coho Salmon, Crayfish, Smallmouth Bass and more with any luck.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Clinton also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll step aboard a 22' Aluminum fishing with room for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
