Willamette Valley Outfitters
Planning your fishing trip in Florence, Depoe Bay, Winchester Bay, Astoria, and the McKenzie just got easier, thanks to Willamette Valley Outfitters, LLC.
Here, you won't be far from inshore and nearshore waters, including some honeyholes that only a local guide can show you.
The name of the game around here is salmon fishing, and that's exactly what you'll do. You can also do a bit of spinning, bottom fishing, and perhaps more, depending on what your guide wants to show you. Kyle will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. We offer a 6-person open boat for trolling and ocean trips and a 3-person wooden drift boat for smaller river trips.
Top targets include Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lingcod, Rockfish, Rainbow Trout (steelhead), and more, with any luck.
Any fish open to harvest that are caught during the trip are yours to keep. Kyle can even clean your catch for you, so it's easy to cook. Have a cooler ready in the car! You're welcome to bring up to 6 anglers on this guided experience. You'll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so dress accordingly and bring only as much as you can carry.
Expect to get in touch with Kyle before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there.
Everyone in your group should buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Layered clothing and appropriate footwear are always encouraged (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen, bottled water, and sunglasses, rain or shine.
Kyle welcomes anglers of all ages on these trips, including kids. Get in touch to find out if Kyle has child-sized life vests you can borrow, or bring your own.
These Oregon fisheries are calling, so let Willamette Valley Outfitters, LLC take you there!
