Full Day Trip on October 29, 2026 • 1 adultWe had a great time out on the water despite some challenging conditions. It was a particularly windy day, which significantly limited the areas we were able to fish. However, we got off to a great start early in the trip, putting a few quality lake trout in the boat that we were able to safely release. The goal for the remainder of the day was to target multiple species and mix things up, but unfortunately, the fish didn't quite cooperate. We even spotted several impressive brown trout, but despite our efforts, we just couldn't get them to commit. Although the fishing presented its challenges, I was still able to put some quality fish in the boat and enjoy a great day on the water. Fishing doesn't always go according to plan, and sometimes the conditions and the fish have other ideas. Overall, it was a fun experience, and I appreciate the effort that went into making the most of a challenging day. I'd definitely recommend getting out on the water with Captain Jacob.
