There's a fish with your name on it in Marathon, and Blue Magic Charters will help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Steven, so you'll benefit from his angling experience.

Around here, it's common to catch Yellowtail Snapper, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Sailfish, Mutton Snapper, Swordfish, Wahoo, Permit, Amberjack, Blackfin Tuna, Mangrove Snapper, Black Grouper, Caribbean Queen Snapper, and more, depending on the time of year.

During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe trying something more specialized in this area. Capt. Steven can also show you kite fishing.

Capt. Steven believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard – bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!

Your trip begins aboard a 31' sportfishing boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers and all the essentials. There's a toilet onboard for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.

Capt. Steven will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's a good idea to ask about this so you know whether you'll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may need to release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow the regulations while you fish.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
