Picturesque mangrove pathways, gorgeous skylines, and hard-fighting fish boiling the water – that's what fishing in Naples, FL looks like. Fish The Salt Guide Service is keen to put you right in the middle of this picture, with a rod in your hand!
Captain Tim Daugherty invites you to join him for a backcountry fishing adventure around Naples. You'll fish from his 22' Pathfinder center console. You can bring 3 fishing buddies with you; everyone can fish at the same time. The boat is perfectly suited to these waters – the draft is shallow enough so you can safely navigate the mangroves. An onboard wireless trolling motor will allow you to sneak up on even the spookiest fish.
Once you're on top of the fish, you can drop the onboard PowerPole to steady your cast. You'll want your cast as steady as possible, Capt. Tim will take you after some of the hardest-fighting fish around. Bull Redfish, Permit, Jack Crevalle, and others can be targeted – they're bound to give you a workout!
The catch list doesn't stop there either, you can go after Snook, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, Porbeagle Shark, Spotted Seatrout, Mackerel, and many other fish in the local waters.
If you've never experienced fishing Marco Island, Naples, Estero Bay, and the 10,000 islands, now's your chance! Book a trip with Fish The Salt Guide Service and explore the productive fishery of Southwest Florida.

We had a great time fishing with Captain Tim! We got the full experience of saltwater fishing. It was both my girlfriend and I’s first time saltwater fishing and Captain Tim was very knowledge and patient in teaching us the differences from freshwater fishing and how it different from fishing back home in the North. We caught a large diversity of species of fish, Snook, trout, red snapper, saltwater bluegill and Jack. The Jack were fun to catch because even the small ones but up a hell of a fight!
It was a fun morning for our family of four. My huband and sons love it! Tim was a great captain and knowledgeable fisherman! We caught lots of snapper and snook across a few different spots. We were able to keep some right sized snapper for dinner. Got to see several dolphins near the boat throughout too. It was a sunny, hot day. Recommend wearing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a hooded fishing shirt.
From the greeting at the boat ramp to our departure, we had a fantastic time. Capt Tim is knowledgeable, friendly and a professional. He knew exactly where to take us and we caught our limit for the day! It was an excellent Papa and grandsons (young adults) adventure! We’ll definitely look to do this on our next trip!

half day trip with tim was great. caught tons of fish and the boat is great.
he took us out on one of the hottest days of the year and we still caught our limit of snapper and some nice snooks. Tim is a cool dude with really good taste in music so that helps also. Strongly recommend.

Captain Tim knew just where to fish for snook and snapper! Sensory overload with dolphins swimming beside the boat and manitees surfacing while we fished. Great experience!
Tim was very knowledgeable and fun! He found the best spots and helped us catch a lot of fish! Such a great experience! Will be back again!
Captain very knowlegble and a great guide! Caught many different fish. Highly recomended for all skill levels. Will def book again.
Captain Tim was great. Very patient. He had a great vibe. We learned lots and made a core memory for myself and three sons.
Captain Tim worked very hard to get us on fish on a very tough day. We fished the tail end of a four day cold front so the fish were hard to find. But Tim got us on a stud red and big snook. Highly recommend fishing with Tim.

We had a great day fishing with Captain Tim. He led us to several good spots and we all caught several fish even though we could not find ideal bait this morning. We plan to go with Tim agsin and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced and friendly Captain, especially if you have inexperienced anglers on the boat. I have taken many charter trips out of Marco and Goodland abd today was one of the best trips we ever had.
Myself from Westport Connecticut and my two cousins from the Bronx New York had an amazing morning; fishing with Captain Tim we started out getting the pilchards with the cast net then fishing around the docks and bridges of Marco we caught about half a dozen snook that were out of season so were caught and released but then landed about 10 mangrove snappers which we had two incredible meals with using Captain Tim's recipe using an egg wash with bread crumbs and coconut flakes cooking them in butter and coconut oil far better then the way the snapper was prepared whenbdined on at the snook inn. Captain Tim was a maestro who wasted no effort and had amazing instincts we would definitely be requesting him again on our next trip next year with his 22-ft Pathfinder powered by a 200 horsepower Suzuki engine which was the perfect vessel for fishing the shallow Waters of Marco. The fee was ridiculously low so please give Tim a proper tip if you book them on a trip.
