941 Fishing Charters is based out of Bradenton, Florida. The company offers inshore and Tarpon-specialized trips from Tampa Bay to Sarasota Bay. The charters are run and operated by Captain Joshua Johnson, who has over 15 years of experience fishing in this area, so he knows all the hot spots. He can't wait to put a smile on your face, and hopes to get you reeling in as many fish as possible.
Enjoy your trip aboard a 26' saltwater fishing boat, powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine. The vessel was restored and customized in 2010 and can comfortably take up to 4 anglers. This is a fast boat that can take you to the fishing grounds in no time. Its navigational electronics include a GPS, a VHF radio, and a fishfinder, and the anchoring system will help to stay rooted in the fishing grounds.
Capt. Joshua will take you fishing the inshore waters, targeting a variety of exciting and delicious species. You will use light and heavy tackle, catching Redfish, Permit, King Mackerel, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, Snook, and who knows what else you may find at the end of your line! As well as that, a special Tarpon package will satisfy the needs of any angler aching to tick the Silver King off their bucket list.
Your adventure will include all the gear, bait, and knowledge you need for an enjoyable and memorable day out on the water. The captain will provide the rods, reels, and tackle, as well as lures and live bait. Once caught, your fish will be cleaned and bagged for you at the end of the day to take home and have for dinner or fill the freezer!

Half Day Trip (AM) on March 15, 2018 • 4 adultsOur grandson came to visit from Michigan this week so we called Josh and set up a fishing charter. We met him at the launch and he took us to all his favorite spots in the inter coastal (it was too chilly to go into the gulf). We caught Sea Trout, Snook, Lady-fish, Grunt & Flounder. His boat was comfortable and really fun to maneuver around in. He came well equipped and we had a great experience. He cleaned all our fish and gave us some great recommendations for cooking it. Our favorite one was taking it to Tide Table where they will cook it for you! Josh is very knowledgeable, professional and considerate. We had a great time! We'll definitely take his trip again when our other grandsons visit!

We caught 4 triple tail the largest being 15 lbs . Fantastic time the fish were amazing fighters . Drag squelling poll bent in half , one of my best fishing trips . If you are ever in Bradenton or Anna Maria island and want to fish . Check out 941 fishing you will not be disappointed.
