Capt Ed Elliott is a very professional captain. His first mate was very skilled and very knowledgeable in his job which in-turn made it a very awesome fishing trip for me and wife. The ocean was rough that trip but Capt Ed kept us on the fish. Spanish Mackerel was the first 2 hours of fishing. Sizes varied but all nice size keepers. Capt Ed asked if we want to do some Shark 🦈 fishing, we told him, Yes. Capt Ed put us on the shark and my wife and I had a blast fighting them to The Lucky Strike, my wife fought a total of 3 sharks 🦈 (1) 3 footer and (2) 4 footer, I myself fought 3 shark 🦈 also (2) 5 footer and (1) 6 footer. If want a good fight go Shark 🦈 fishing with Capt Ed Elliot and his deckhand ,on the " Lucky Strike". Captain Ed Thank You for a awesome 5 hour trip. My wife and I will definitely see you again. TLTR: Great experience, 5 STAR, HIGHLY recommended. 6 hours trip in afternoon for 6 people. 2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 pre teens (11 &8). everyone caught atleast one fish each. Crew was great!!! The long now... Want out. Captain Ed and his firstate, Brian (Mongo) we awesome. We have been on multiple fishing trips now and this was the first time we were asked what we wanted to do or catch. Sounds odd to us but cool thing as we want to eat what we caught so we focused on that. Started of with trolling. Picked up 4 nice fish. Then went to do bottom and got a ton of nibbles, a few on the hook, and a couple of nice keepers. Then back to trolling on the way in and pick up 3 more. We were beyond happy even though the first mate kept apologizing for not being more fish lookong to be hooked. The only low was the heat... we went out and the first 3.5 to 4 hours were a bit rough on temperature but nothing the crew could have controlled. This led to a few of the family members getting sick and our little one did not make it into a bucket. We tried to clean it up but the First mate refused to let us and took it on himself. 6 stars for sure!. On the way in the Captain let the kids upin the pilot house and gave a small but fun lesson is captaining a boat. Back pier side, Captian talked with us as the first mate cleaned the fish. The mate even showed the kids feed the pier pelican the scraps by hand, which they loved. We have a rule never to fish with same charter twice, but next time we are back... we are breaking that rule and going out with Lucky Strike again! Ed and Brian thank you all for a great trip and some great core memories for the kids!
This was a trip our family will never forget. we brought our parents and 3 young boys on the trip. Mongo, the first mate was fabulous! He was funny and engaging and let the kiddos even catch the bait fish. Each kid caught a spanish mackerel. Captain Ed, let us pick what we wanted to target for the day and the kids picked sharks. Captain Ed put us in the right spot, Mongo hooked ‘em up, and it was fish on! Took everyone to help get the over 7’ spinner shark on the boat. Not long after we caught a 5 1/2” black tip shark and a small dog shark. The fish tales will be legendary.

Wow! Shipmate Brian and Captain Ed were accommodating in working with our limited schedule to help us get the best experience possible! My avid fisherman, husband wanted to target shark, (my request was to catch a hammerhead) they delivered! And our daughter, and son-in-law caught their biggest fish yet! When spending several hours out on the water, a bathroom is a must for me, and moving out quickly to find great fishing spots, not having to spend all your time traveling-made the boat and knowledgeable, Captain and shipmate worth every penny! I will definitely be booking with them for our future fishing trips! We give them two thumbs up! And five stars!
To say this was an incredible and unique experience would be an understatement. We were looking for a family fishing trip where we would catch fish and have memories to last a life time. We accomplished both! The captain and first mate(Mango) went above and beyond to deliver that experience! They were attentive, entertaining and took very good care of us. We caught over 50 fishes and were able to bring 24 home! We are already talking about scheduling out next trip with them. If you don't book your fishing trip with them, you are making a big mistake. Thanks guys and we look forward to the next trip!

The Caption and first mate, Ryan, were exceptional!! They take great pride in what they do and it shows. The size of the boat was great, with a cabin providing a/c or heat if needed, a place to get out of the sun or inclement weather and a sizable lavatory. Lucky Strike had more amenities than any oither fishing charter I've been on. We had nine family members and friends and there was plenty of room for everyone. We caught 9-10 bonitos, afterward, Ryan expertly cleaned and sliced into fillets. It was fun feeding the scraps to the pelicans on the deck, inluding one-legged Pete! We cooked some of the fillets that evening and they were awesome! It was a perfect day that will go down in the memory books :)
We had a blast today… Caught some delicious Mackerel that we cooked for dinner this evening. Doesn’t get any fresher than that! We were also able to catch a huge red drum and a few sharks! The water was choppy, but no fault of the crew.
had a group of 8 first-timers with 3 teenagers. Firstmate Brian and Captain Ed were great. We caught lots of fish and had the best time. Fastest 5 hours ever! Should have stayed out longer! Definitely will do again with them!
This was most of my groups first time fishing the ocean and it did not disappoint! we trolled, bottom fished, and then fished for sharks! While we didnt catch a ton of keepers, we did catch a lot of fish! we even got a 5-6 foot shark to the boat! Captain Ed was great! and Mongo did amazing with my 8 year omd daughter. he kept a pole out for her to make sure she had just as much fun!

My wife and a couple of friends enjoyed our time with Captain Ed and Deckhand Brian. We marked off my friends bucket list of deep sea fishing and it completed my bucket list item of being able to say I have fished the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of America and Pacific Ocean. We caught close to 30 decent size fish and two sharks. It was loads of fun. We are already talking about our next trip

Our family had an amazing fishing trip with Captain Ed and First Mate Brian . The boat was spacious with an indoor cabin included and deck seating to accomodate everyone in our family. We were able to troll for bait fish and catch Spanish Mackerel and Shark during our trip. We even had the opportunity to see dolphins during our trip which the kids loved. The charter was family friendly ; great for both adults and kids. First Mate Brian was educational and great with the kids keeping them engaged throughout our trip. Thanks to Captain Ed and First Mate Brian for a great day on the water. Crystal and Shane
