Captain Kirby's Fishing Charters 

Alex made our trip simple and flexible. He met us at the dock promptly even when we were 30 minutes early to our reservation. Got out to the fishing spots quickly and was ready with bait etc. Super professional and had a great time. Quick with fileting the fish and had bags etc. I would definitely book with Alex again! Thanks for the memorable trip with my two sons and father!

Captain Kirby is exactly what you want, guaranteed. I have booked several other trips in the past, ocean nearshore and inshore, as well as lakes. This has been my best experience to date. You will be catching fish constantly. I brought my 8 year old son along and Captain Kirby ensured a fun and exciting trip. He was patient and helped my son reel in the larger fish. I had to take a break cause of the constant action. I kept his card because when we come back into town next year, I am booking with Captain Kirby. Do yourself a favor and book with him, you will be thankful you listened to this review.

Capt. Kirby made our trip the highlight of our vacation. He took my special needs daughter and my grandpa out for a 3/4th day fishing trip, catching so many different species, and SOOO many fish. My daughter says this was the highlight of the trip, which speaks VOLUMES. He made us feel like family, had expert level knowledge of the area, and had us on fish within 15 minutes. Thank you so much Capt. Kirby! When we come back there's only one fishing charter we will call, and it's Kirby!!!!!

After 25+ years of marriage, it’s rare that my wife and I do something with another couple that hasn’t been done before. We enjoyed this trip with our lifelong friends who have been married just as long. We had a blast! Captain Alex was so helpful in making sure that we ALL caught a lot of fish. After the trip my wife made fun of me for an hour because she caught more than I did. I want a recount! Thank you Captain. We will be back!

4hr inshore morning trip for the family. Alex knew exactly where to put us on the fish, he was all over the boat making sure everyone had bait in the water. We caught our limit of Redfish in the first few hours and then moved to target sea trout. We caught more sea trout than we could count and kept a few lovely big ones. We also had some Spanish Mackeral that we landed and overall had a brilliant trip. Highly recommend!

Captain Kirby took us out for a great morning of fishing before the heat set in. Each spot we went to was quick to get into action from grouper, to mangrove snapper to trout. Plenty of bait and very active to make sure had fresh bait on and spare rods to go when got caught on pilons. Would highly recommend him for family outings and serious outings out.

My daughter and I are avid fishing charter customers. Florida, California, Michigan. Captain Alex is exceptional at making sure our experience was the best it could be given the day fishing conditions. We had a great outing, found great spots, and caught dozens of fish. Can’t wait to fish with Capt Alex again. Go for 6 or more hours and you’ll be glad you did.

Our family of 4 (daughter, 12 and son, 11) took our first fishing charter with Captain Kirby in Bradenton, FL. He was informative about what to expect prior to the trip, kept in contact with us before the trip, and was ready and waiting for us at the boat launch that morning. Captain Kirby was well-equipt and very prepared for the trip. His boat and his fishing equipment were in excellent condition. He was extremely knowledgeable about the species of fish we'd be catching in the different spots in the bay. He was very patient and caring as he assisted our kids with the fishing equipment and being safe on the boat. We caught many fish which was very exciting to the kids that day. Captain Kirby was very personable and asked us about our previous experience fishing and shared information about his family as well. He was even highly regarded by his fellow fishing charter captains there. We were extremely pleased with our experience with Captain Kirby and are looking forward to working with him again on our next visit.
