Thrill Of It All – Captiva

The fish were not particularly hungry early in morning on the day we went, but Captain Scott worked hard to ensure we were able to catch plenty of fish by changing locations as needed. He was very knowledgable and kind. He was very family friendly and made sure our boys, 9 & 14, had an awesome time. We saw some dolphins and manatee while we were out. We also had a rainstorm pop up somewhat unexpectedly, and he made sure we all stayed safe.

Capt Scott put us on yhe fish for the entire day. my wife caught two Reds over the slot! Scott was very well prepared and definetly cared about us getting where the fish were. i had a great time and best of all my wife is now hooked on catching the big one! i highly recommend Scott for seasoned and beginner fishermen!

Captain Scott has great response time and communication. He was very accommodating too. Originally, the trip was primarily to target sharks. However, we were able to fish for many different species as well. We ended up catching fish and good ones too. We managed to catch a hog snapper in 40 feet of water! Captain Scott was also knowledgeable about marine life and fishing. The next time we come to Captiva Island, we’ll definitely book another charter with Captain Scott.

Day started slow, but captain Scott kept working us around until we got into some action; we brought some keepers home and especially enjoyed the wealth of local knowledge and information shared by Captain Scott. We had 2 teenagers fishing and they thoroughly enjoyed everything about this trip.

We caught a variety of fish, mostly sheepshead keepers, Captain Scott was great in moving around and getting us to where the fish were. Would have loved to catch more but tide was abnormally low...would recommend and would go again.

Pick this charter! We saw several boats go back empty handed but not us! We caught fish continuously from the moment our rods hit the water. Scott knows the waterways, the ecosystem, the marine life and demonstrates the kind of professionalism and knowledge you should definitely experience. Captain Scott took my two teenage boys, my wife and I on an amazing excursion fishing off Captiva. Fish were biting all day long in Scott's honey holes! We caught some nice sheep fish and trout. Scott cleaned them for us and we ate them for supper tonight. Delicious! My younger son said it was one of his best days ever. I'd have to agree!

Scott put us on the fish immediately. We lost count of the number of reds we caught. Scott is attentive has great equipment. Wonderful experience. He is very knowledgeable about the fish and the fishery. He is very pleasant and conversant. Never a dull dip in the conversation. I recommend him and his service!
