Make some memories in Voss and go fishing with OH Ivie Bass. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Stan knows them forwards and back.
"Great guy, easy to fish with and make conversation… Thanks..." — Trenity,
Voss, Texas, offers exceptional freshwater fishing experiences centered around its renowned waterways, providing anglers with diverse opportunities across the region's lakes and rivers. Lake O.H. Ivie stands as a premier destination, known for trophy-sized Largemouth Bass, Crappie, and Catfish, attracting enthusiasts seeking record catches. The expansive 19,000-acre reservoir accommodates both boat and shore fishing against a scenic backdrop of Texas hill country.
Nearby fisheries like Lake Coleman supplement the area's appeal with abundant populations of Largemouth Bass and Crappie. Seasonal patterns enhance targeting: spring brings aggressive bass and crappie moving into shallow pre-spawn zones, while Catfish bite year-round. For river adventures, the Concho River's clear currents support fly fishing for Rainbow Trout and sunfish, ideal for wading or kayak excursions.
Guided Voss Fishing Charters leverage local expertise to navigate these productive waters, with specialized trips for bass tournaments or family-friendly outings. The region's accessibility—just a short drive from major hubs—combines convenience with unspoiled natural beauty, creating memorable angling getaways for all skill levels to explore Texas' freshwater riches.
