Vineyard Boat Charters with Capt. John Hobby
Vineyard Boat Charters es un charter de pesca de fondo que se enfoca en una experiencia de pesca familiar que ningún otro charter en la isla ofrece. Los llevaré en una corta travesía desde el puerto de Tashmoo hacia la costa norte del Vineyard hasta algunos de mis lugares favoritos de pesca de fondo. Me encanta ver a los niños con grandes sonrisas en sus caras cuando ven lo que sacan del agua. Esto realmente se trata de que la familia pase un buen rato, tenga la oportunidad de pescar, y sea una parte especial de sus vacaciones. Una gran oportunidad para fotos y recuerdos.
Normalmente hago excursiones de mañana, pero puedo hacer excursiones de tarde o al atardecer si esos horarios son mejores. A los padres a veces les gustan los atardeceres, ideal para esa bonita foto familiar. Dos horas es realmente todo lo que necesitan. Hay mucha acción en esas dos horas, y parece que todos quedan satisfechos en ese tiempo.
Mi precio base es para 4 pescadores, dos horas. Tengo licencia de la USCG para hasta 6 pescadores con un costo adicional por cada pescador extra. Es posible extender el tiempo de pesca a una tarifa horaria adicional.
Cuento con todo el equipo de seguridad necesario, pero si desean traer el suyo, son bienvenidos siempre y cuando cumpla con las regulaciones de la USCG.
Mi embarcación tiene una litera delantera en V con dos camas, un baño (inodoro) y agua corriente para lavarse las manos. Hay asientos para acomodar hasta 6 pescadores.
Algunos artículos esenciales que deben traer son gafas de sol, un sombrero, protector solar (en crema, no en spray) y agua. Si desean traer otras bebidas, solo pregunten. Se permite alcohol con moderación, pero intenten evitar los licores fuertes así como las botellas de vidrio.
Las propinas son muy apreciadas. Como capitán y primer oficial a la vez, me encargo de cada aspecto de su excursión. Aunque no es obligatorio, los invitados suelen dejar entre el 15-20%.

We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to enjoy the seas, get some fishing in, and have fun with each other and the Captain. We will definitely make this a recurring experience next time we are on the Vineyard!

He was incredibly patient and helpful, making sure everyone had a great time from start to finish. His communication before the trip was excellent and he made sure the entire experience was easy and stress-free. He is experienced and knows where to find the fish - we caught several black sea bass and the highlight was my son catching a cape shark! He took time to help everyone aboard, answered all our questions, and made sure my son and niece had an unforgettable experience. We had an awesome day on the water and I would absolutely book with Captain John again!

He made everyone feel comfortable, kept the energy high, and knew exactly what he was doing. And the fishing? Ridiculous. We caught an insane amount of fish! This was exactly the experience we were hoping for—a great captain, great time, happy kids, and a boat full of fish. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. Highly recommend Captain John! 🎣

My 13yo son loves fishing and John was terrific with him, let my son weigh in on places to fish from and they had a great banter and rapport the entire fishing trip. John’s boat was very comfortable and it was a lovely morning and will be a new addition to our future MV lists of things to do.

It was the perfect day to be on the water and John was super helpful and great with our kids (17,15&9) Everyone was able to reel in multiple fish and even one big enough to keep. Captain John was awesome. Lots of communication pre-departure around changing weather. Ended up able to go and our kids (10, 8, and 5) were hooked up to fish all morning. Two hours was the perfect length of time to get out and catch some fish for this age. John kept the rods going, helped as much or as little as needed for each age, and was friendly and knoweldgeable about the area. Hope to fish with him again! Brought a ton of fish on board for lots of smiles and great photo ops!
