Río Lagartos offers excellent opportunities for fly fishing, especially for those seeking the challenge of catching fish in shallow waters and unique natural environments. Fly fishing enthusiasts will find an ideal setting for chasing the mighty shad and other coastal species.
For fly fishing, we recommend that fishermen bring their own equipment, as most feel more comfortable using rods, reels and lines with which they are already familiar. This allows for better use of the experience and more efficient adaptation to fishing conditions.
The excursion takes place on board a 23-foot boat with capacity for up to 2 fishermen, equipped with everything you need for a safe and comfortable day on the water.

El guía era inexperto, hablaba un poco de inglés y no parecía saber mucho de pesca, y había un capitán joven que sabía más. Les pedí que fuéramos a por cualquier especie que picara, con tal de capturar algo. Insistieron en pescar con señuelos de plástico, sin carnada viva. No nos dieron buenas indicaciones sobre las técnicas. Probamos un par de sitios, sin suerte. Buena embarcación, buen almuerzo y bebidas.
