On this trip we will be exploring all that the great Lake Russel has to offer. The lake is full of spotted bass that are an absolute blast to catch and the best part, we are able to chase them nearly year round. However, on this trip it is not uncommon to come across a school of hybrids that are famous in this lake. They put up a fantastic fight and make for some great memories. This is your trip, if there is anything you would like to focus on or learn more about we can customize it to your wishes!
5-hour fishing trip on one of Georgia's most beautiful lakes
These trips are unique in that we fish anywhere from 3ft of water to 150ft on any given day. Bait sizes range from 2 to 17 inches and we stay hooked up on big baits. Come see for yourself!
Currently, the fish are spread throughout the lake. Water temperatures are between 75 and 77 degrees. Fish are starting to surface. The morning trip starts at sunrise and lasts 5 hours. We will be trolling for Striper, Spotted Bass, Catfish, and Longnose Gar, which sometimes get mixed in. If you are bringing children, please let us know. Kids sometimes get bored, and if they want to switch to catching Bluegill, we can make arrangements for that.
