The very best time and place to catch big Southern Bluefin Tuna is from June to August in the Bay of Plenty. They arrive mid to late May and fishing for them really fires up from June. We absolutely love fishing for these beauties as they are an amazing size, hunt in packs, taste fantastic and put up some amazing scraps. Rods and tackle are included in the price. BYO lunch, snacks and plenty of refreshments.
