Caught about 8 nice rockfish, but out of season... :( He taught the boys (a 6 & 9 yr. old) about the boat and answered hundreds of questions from them. Even let them steer the boat. I would recommend Captain Joe for any fishing charter.

Captain Joey worked hard for us constantly moving to a new spot when the fish stopped biting at the current spot. Everyone in our party had a lot of fun. I would book with him again.

This isn't a sit in a comfy seat and have the First Mate cast your line and then give it to you to reel in, this is a bit of an education on what to use where to go and how to catch the big ones.

He took us to over a dozen locations in an attempt to find and catch fish. Unfortunately, the fish were not cooperating, and the only nibble we got was a huge sting ray that Capt. Joe caught.
