Avhengig av hvilken art du er ute etter, kan du finne deg selv i spinnefiske, trolling, drivfiske, bunnfiske, eller kanskje noe mer spesialisert i dette området. Fisk innenfor lovlig grense er ditt å ta med hjem. Kaptein Kristian vil velge ut den beste fisken og rense fangsten din for deg. Det er virkelig valuta for pengene!
Våre kapteiner tar gjerne imot barn om bord, så ta gjerne med hele familien! Barn må bruke redningsvester, så sjekk om riktig størrelse er tilgjengelig om bord. Det anbefales å ta med hatt, solbriller, solkrem (ikke spray), snacks og drikke.
Du kaster liner fra en 29' Stamas center console som tar opptil 6 passasjerer. Den har alle nødvendigheter, inkludert toalett om bord. Vi sørger for stenger og ruller, samt sluk. Levende agn er også inkludert. Det er ikke nødvendig å kjøpe fiskekort, bare møt opp klar for en god opplevelse!
Turene gjennomføres med hjelp av en styrmann, som er der for å hjelpe deg med å fiske og holde alle trygge om bord. Det er vanlig å gi mannskapet 20% tips på slutten av dagen for å vise din takknemlighet. Husk at du kanskje må sette ut noen fisk på grunn av reguleringer. 4-timers tur – Kystfiske Striper helg den August 6, 2026 • 4 voksneFive of us fished with Captain Kristian of 30 Fathoms Fishing Charter out of Newburyport on August 6th, and we had a fantastic morning on the water. We left at 6:00 a.m. to beautiful weather—sunny skies, light winds, and calm seas. We started by fishing for bait and immediately found a school of mackerel. We had jigs on four lines, and as soon as they hit the water we were pulling up three, four, and sometimes six fish per line. Fishing is fun, but catching is better—even when it’s just the bait! The action was nonstop, and we quickly had all the mackerel we needed. Captain Kristian clearly knows the area well. He grew up locally and is friendly with the other captains, letting a few of them know where we were hooking up before we set off for striped bass. It was a bit of a run along Plum Island, but the twin Suzuki outboards on the boat made quick work of it. Once we reached the Parker River, Kristian got the rods set up and we started drifting the outgoing tide. After a few uneventful drifts, we moved to another location and immediately got hooked up with a beautiful, fat 39-inch striped bass. We made a few more drifts and landed another fish of about the same size. The four hours flew by, and by the time we headed back we were already wishing we’d booked a longer trip. The boat is well set up to maximize your time with lines in the water, and Kristian did a great job keeping things moving and helping whenever we needed it. One thing to know is that Kristian was running the boat without a first mate. That wasn’t an issue for us—he handled tangles, cut lines, and everything else that came up very capably. However, if you’re booking a trip with a group, it definitely helps to have at least one or two people who are comfortable putting bait on hooks and unhooking fish so the captain can stay focused on finding and catching fish. Overall, it was a great trip with great weather, plenty of action, and two very nice striped bass. Captain Kristian knows the local waters, runs a fast and capable boat, and clearly wants his customers to have a good day. We had a blast and would definitely consider booking with 30 Fathoms again—next time, we’ll probably book more than four hours!

We caught 4 big striped bass—one small enough to keep for dinner. was fun to catch the mackerell also—usually we dont get to take part in that with fishing tours like these. Lobster Trap Tour den July 30, 2023 • 5 voksne • 1 barnCaptain Christian and 1st mate Anna made our first ever family lobstering trip unforgettable! Anna reached out before the trip to make sure any questions were answered. They both were so friendly, knowledgeable, fun and welcoming. The boat is beautiful, comfortable and luxurious. The docking location was easy to find and even easier to park at (especially during a festival weekend). The trip was a perfect amount of relaxing, hands on fun and lobstering! We learned a lot about the area and caught 5 legal sized lobsters to feast on at home. Fun for the whole family. I HIGHLY recommend 30 Fathom Charters for any charter. We will definitely make this an annual lobster trip and will be joining them for a fishing trip before the summer is over.

4 Hour Trip – Inshore Striper den May 30, 2024 • 4 voksneCaptain and first mate warned us about 50% chance of rain. ☔️ Our schedule didn’t allow for a different day. Both did what they could to make our day as enjoyable as possible. Shared history of the area, talked about their family and explained the gadgets in the boat. At the end of the 4 hours we were successful. Wet but smiles on faces while holding a fish.

The thrill of hooking striped bass was one of the greatest experiences in my 70 year life. Being able to watch my grandsons' first hook ups was pure joy and something none of us will ever forget. The entire trip was second to none. We started off catching some mackerel (fun in itself) and then Captain Kristian put us right in top of the bass. The oldest hooked a surgeon first off and then we caught several 37" - 40" bass. Great boat, plenty of room, a good spacious head, and expert hands on help if you need it. This is a top notch charter.

Captain was great, freandly, conversational, and took really good care of us. Kristian got us on some nice stripers and was an all around great guy interacting with me and my family. This is our second trip with him and we will certainly be back for additional trips in the future.
