Hola Cappy Charters er stolte av å gi alle en flott opplevelse på vannet, og gjør en ekstra innsats for å få deg til fisken. Som den ledende operatøren for fisking etter pelagisk storviltfisk i Oceanside, ser vi frem til å ønske deg velkommen om bord for en tur du sent vil glemme!
Med 18 års fiskeerfaring, hvorav 6 år hos topp operatører ut av San Diego, er kaptein Danny klar til å gjøre turen din uforglemmelig med kunnskap, erfaring og selvtillit. Han har deltatt i Saltwater Bass Series siden 2019, og har samlet 4 seire og 10 topp 3-plasseringer, i tillegg til 3 utmerkelser for største fisk. For ikke å nevne mange års erfaring fra San Diego under vingene til kapteiner Ryan Bostian og Matt Bralla. Det hele startet på Intrepid med kapteiner Bill Cavanaugh og Sam Moore. Fra Palos Verdes til Cabo San Lucas har Danny tilbrakt mange dager på Stillehavet, og mange av dem med god fangst!
Fartøyet vårt er en Yellowfin 32 Offshore, rigget til fingerspissene med to Mercury Verado 400 V10 påhengsmotorer som tar deg effektivt og trygt til og fra fiskeplassene. 16" Garmin elektronikk og JLA lydanlegg for god stemning hele dagen. Rhodan Trolling-motor har et avansert GPS-ankersystem som holder oss på plassen.
Is, vann, fiskeutstyr, fiskerensing og StarLink er inkludert på alle turer
Ta gjerne med din favoritt solkrem samt klær for både varme og kalde forhold. Hvis du er utsatt for sjøsyke, ta sjøsykemedisin kvelden før eller noen timer før turen. Ta med din favorittmat og drikke, ingen glassflasker takk, og alkohol er tillatt men ikke inkludert.

These guys know their stuff. The boat (32' Yellowfin) is awesome, and all the gear was top-notch. Took my mom, who felt safe the whole time. Best of all, they put us on the fish (which can never be promised). Can't recommend these guys enough. If you're looking for a memorable day on the water, this is the one.

12 Hour Trip – Tuna Hunt den July 9, 2025Had the absolute best time fishing with Captain Danny. Him and his crew were super knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about putting us on fish. They knew the local waters inside and out and had us on quality bites in no time. Gear was top-tier and the boat was badass, had us out in the zone asap and making stops along the way. Can’t say enough good things. great vibes, weather, and most importantly, great fishing. Whether you're a local or visiting, don’t miss the chance to get out with this crew. I’ll definitely be booking with them again.

Catalina Island Lobster Trip den August 29, 2025 • 3 voksneWe did a 4 hour inshore with trip with Captain Danny Higley. Fishing reports have been slow but Danny is an experienced captain and we were able to catch a total of 22 plus fish. Mixture of rockfish, calico bass, white fish and some sand dabs. It was an awesome day! His deck hand Josh was awesome as well. Great boat too! Highly recommend Captain Danny Higley for your next charter. Best part of fishing is hanging out with great friends, catching fish is bonus!

12 Hour Trip – Tuna Hunt den July 17, 2025Booked this full day trip with Hola Cappy in hopes to see a tuna and we were given a trip of a lifetime! The fish were everywhere and there was no lack of excitement on the boat! The boat and the crew are top notch on top of the fact we caught 7 Bluefin and one away from limits! Beyond stoked, and highly recommend Hola Cappy Charters. We will be back to fish with Dan as we are wishing the trip never ended! No one in Oceanside compares to this operation!

9 Hour Trip – Fishing Adventure den July 12, 2025Such an awesome experience from the beginning of the trip to the end! The captain was phenomenal and very knowledgeable, the boat ride in a bean bag was super comfortable(coming from someone who had hip surgery a few days following the trip), and we had some killer fishing! Even got to wrangle my fish from a sea lion - talk about dinner & a show!! Will be giving him a call the second my doctor gives me the go ahead to start fishing again!

My family and I enjoyed gorgeous weather and scenery along the Oceanside and Carlsbad coastline. We even caught some red rockfish. That was a bonus! We will definitely be booking more trips with Hola Cappy Charters.

Had an awesome day with Captain Danny and Captain-in-training Hudson while fishing with a few family members out of Oceanside. Caught a nice yellowtail first thing, then caught a variety of species on our way back to the docks, including 4 new species for me! Danny knows his equipment, the waters, and is enthusiastic and fun to fish with. Would definitely recommend!

We did the afternoon fishing trip with Captain Danny and Ethan and had the best time. Captain Danny checked in the day prior and his communications were always prompt and friendly. He got us on the fish and the crew handled everything for us. Next time we are in Oceanside, we will be booking with him again.
Danny was awesome - phenomenal charter captain, got us on fish quickly, and then went above and beyond to get hooked up on a yellowtail and seabass! Amazing experience - we will 100% come back for more!
