Captain Kevin was a very nice a knowledgeable person and a great teacher for beginners, we had a rough start with fish for the day but we finished off strong with a beautiful king fish and plenty of fun small fish from the bottom. 10/10 would recommend a trip with kevin, worth every penny!

Kevin went above and beyond making sure my whole family had a great time on the water catching fish! He never stopped tending to rods and baiting hooks. Even my 70 year old mother had a great time and was very impressed with the boat and captains skills. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Kevin did a great job putting us on fish. We started out on a reef and caught a keeper first cast. The water got a little rough for one of us, who gets seasick, so we headed inshore to some quieter water. Caught several snapper and a bluefish there. Overall fun experience. Thanks Kevin!
Had a great time on the water with Captain Kevin. We arrived at the dock early and he had already filled the live well. I had my wife and two kids, ages 11 & 9, with me. Captain Kevin put us on fish immediately and was very informative with the kids. They both had fish on their lines for the whole 4 hours. Spanish mackerel, snapper, and a grouper were caught. Saw a manatee and dolphin followed our wake. It was a great family trip on the water.
What a great day on the water with Captain Kevin! We are very inexperienced fisherman (and I had my 2 kids 10 and 13 y.o. with us) and he was so helpful. He would bait our lines every time and always was there to help us reel in our fish when we were struggling! We caught some great fish and he cleaned and filleted them for us to take home. My kids made memories they will never forget and we will definately book with Kevin the next time we are in town.
Had a great trip with Capt Kevin. Got to the ramp a little early and got to watch Capt Kevin and Vern throwing the cast name for bait. Kevin was at the dock in time and we were off to the fishing grounds quickly. Was happy to see we were running to where the fish were and not just anchored up a short distance from the ramp. Once we arrived at the mouth of the inlet we immediately saw fish rolling and jumping out of the water. Vern got lines in the water and in minutes we were on, unfortunately with a toothy fish who cut the line. Couple more drifts and we had a monster tarpon take the bait and was a fright train quickly dumping the line off of the 7500 series Penn reel and unfortunately lost the fish. It was amazing to have such a large fish spool a reel so fast. There was no controlling that fish. After a few more drifts it got pretty rough and we decided to head into the calmer waters. My 10 year old daughter quickly hooked into a big barracuda and needed some help holding the rod while she fought the fish as it just keep taking line and putting up an amazing fight. A short time later the fish was boat side and in the net. After a few high fives and pictures it was released to live another day. We closed out the day hooking a couple more fish and had a few more tarpon miss our bait, one coming up and missing it three times. Super exciting to see while we all crossed our fingers for the hookup. Kevin and Vern are top notch, quick to answer questions and getting the right baits in the water. We will fish with them again in the future. Thanks for the great day guys!
Kevin was great, brought us to multiple places and we caught fish at all of them. Thanks Kevin!
Kevin was patient with all the re-baiting but we caught fish and had a great experience!
Kovach fishing charters was great. The captain put us on Fish right away and kept us on Fish all day. Me and my two sons had a great time would definitely recommend and will use Captain kevin again.
We had a great trip. Im new to the area and my son was here to visit. We were looking to get out, see the area, and catch some fish. Kevin was great, knowledgeable and kind. we caught a bunch of fish and some keepers. looking forward to another trip in the future.
We had an amazing time, caught some fish, and recommend this charter. Captain Kevin was knowledgable and made the trip feel very laid back. we will definitley go fishing with Captain Kevin again.
We had a great time with Captain Kevin, he was knowledgeable, attentive and personable. We had some nice catches and enjoyed our time despite some tough weather.
No bells and whistles but fun nonetheless. Captain Kevin is knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating! My husband and I had a lot of fun and would charter him again. Ladies- FYI, no bathroom. You’ll have to go for a swim for that. 😉
