Island Angler Charters é uma equipa de pai e filho especializada em pesca costeira e próximo da costa nas águas ao redor da Ilha Jekyll. O Capitão Andy Hicks é um guia simpático com décadas de experiência a pescar nos vários barras, rios, estuários e baías ao longo da costa da Geórgia. O barco do dia é um Hydra-Sports de 23' com consola central, equipado com um motor Yamaha de 250 HP. Vem com equipamento de navegação de primeira, material de pesca, um viveiro e uma caixa de frio. O barco é espaçoso, acomodando até 4 convidados, tornando-o perfeito para passeios em família, saídas de empresa ou uma escapadinha de pesca com amigos.
Terás a oportunidade de explorar inúmeras barras e baías escondidas que pontuam a costa da Geórgia. Também poderás pescar em estuários e rios com inúmeros pesqueiros para uma variedade de espécies. O capitão aproveita ao máximo isso e vai colocar-te em busca de Corvina-pintada, Corvina-vermelha, Corvina-preta e Solha.
Os passeios próximo da costa vão ver-te em busca de várias espécies de Tubarão, bem como Sargo-choupana, Badejo, Cavala-espanhola e Barracuda. Independentemente do passeio que escolhas, o capitão garante que vais ter um momento agradável na água, à caça de peixes grandes, e a criar memórias duradouras com os teus entes queridos.
O Capitão fornece canas Shakespeare de alta qualidade e carretos Penn em todos os seus passeios. Também serás abastecido com isco vivo e iscas artificiais, dependendo da espécie alvo. A tua licença de pesca está incluída na embarcação e os serviços de limpeza e filetagem do peixe também estão incluídos no preço.

4 Horas – Próximo da costa em agosto 20, 2024 • 2 adultosWent on a four hour inshore charter with Shelby as a captain. He got us onto redfish at high tide and we had about 15 on the line had Nine nice keepers between 18 and 22 inches. Also caught one 27 in that we had to throw back. We then moved and went to two spots to fish spotted trout. Last spot was great and we landed three nice trout and one small flounder. Great day and great catch overall and Shelby was a perfect captain, very Knowledgeable, friendly And courteous. Would highly recommend booking with Shelby and/or his dad, Andy. Awesome trip!!!

Toward the end of trip we trailed some shrimp boats and basically got a dolphin tour! Captain Shelby and Trey were awesome with our kids (5 and 10) letting them real in catches they hooked. It was the best day and I would HIGHLY recommend this trip to anyone wanting a more thrilling charter

It was a great experience reeling in the big fish and learning about the tides and fish that live between Jekyll and Little Cumberland Island. They did a great job of cleaning the fish we were able to keep and we are looking forward to at least three great dinners from this trip. We look forward to our next trip to Jekyll so we can do this again.

4 Horas – Pesca de Tubarão Próximo da Costa em julho 22, 2023 • 4 adultosCaptain Shelby, Captain Andy’s son, was the perfect choice for our half day of shark fishing off Jekyll Island, Georgia. The boat had a Bimini top to provide shade. Shelby welcomed us with an easy laugh, marine wildlife facts and local island tidbits. The day was windy so Captain Shelby adapted to stay closer inshore behind a shrimp boat. His efforts paid off! Our college kids got in plenty of “reel action”. The family got 16 hits and pulled in ten significant sharks to catch and release! We learned about specific behavior differences between sharks. Shelby was quick to move lines and position the boat during catches. It was a pleasure to have Captain Shelby as our guide. The fishing trip was a wonderful time to bond before everyone is headed back to college and a great start to Shark Week! We recommend Captain Shelby and his dad Captain Andy for a fair price and terrific fishing trip! We’re already planning our next one!

Stayed on the fish all trip . 3 people and we all caught sharks , 4 different kinds . I had the pleasure of climbing aboard the charter boat for the four-hour fishing trip. From start to finish, everything was expertly managed, making for an unforgettable day on the water with Captain Shelby as our guide. His extensive knowledge of fishing, especially around the islands, added so much value to our experience. Captain Shelby was skilled at navigating the waters and took the time to teach us about different fishing techniques and the local marine life.vibrant.\n\nThroughout our adventure, we were fortunate enough to catch several sharks, along with a variety of other fish. Captain Shelby ensured that we were involved in the action, making it a truly hands-on experience.The boat was well-equipped, comfortable. . I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to combine adventure with a bit of education. Thank you, Captain Shelby, for an amazing day.
Weather was not ideal but captain did his best to put us on fish. He knew area very well and tried many spots. Was great in keeping us safe in returning back to dock with rough waters.
