808 Fishing Tale
The wild waters of Lahaina are calling, and 808 Fishing Tale is here to take you to them!
You won't have to travel far to fish these inshore waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.
The name of the game around here is light tackle fishing, and that's exactly what you'll do. You may also jig, for your catch. V will provide rods and reels and bait.
Giant Trevally, Bluefin Trevally, Bonefish, Gray Triggerfish, and more inhabit these waters if conditions are right.
Fish that are legal to harvest are yours to keep. Have a cooler ready in the car! V can take groups as large as 6 on this guided experience. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.
Don't hesitate to send V a message below with any questions you have, including where to meet on the day of your trip.
Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunblock, no matter the weather.
V will have some snacks and drinks for you. Children are welcome to come along.

Moje dete od 9 godina obožava pecanje, ali samo oko sat vremena, pa nam minimalna izleta brodom od 4 sata ne odgovaraju. Les je bio super prijatan i pronašao je odlično mesto za nas. Svakako bih preporučio porodicama sa malom decom, i definitivno ćemo ponovo rezervisati kada se vratimo na Maui.

Bili bismo oduševljeni da smo ulovili samo jednu ribu tokom našeg dvočasovnog izleta, ali ja sam ulovila 3, a moj muž 4. Bila je to predivna, opuštajuća i poučna aktivnost. Svakako bismo to ponovili. Les je bio od velike pomoći i zabavan.

Šta to znači za ljude Havaja i da to jednostavno nije samo još jedno vodeno telo. Okean je ono što daje život Havajima. Mora biti zaštićen kako bi služio budućim generacijama. Pričao je o poštovanju prema okeanu i zemlji. Svako ko dođe na Havaje treba da odvoji vreme i uradi nešto za ostrva. Očisti deo plaže, pokloni malo vremena u skloništu za životinje. Oh, pokazao mi je i kako da pecam u tim vodama. Ulovio sam jednu ribu, ali taj dan nije bio o ribi, već o služenju zemlji, moru i vazduhu kako bih mogao da idem u ribolov.
