Ready for an unforgettable day on the Gulf of Mexico? Venture beyond the 9-mile boundary and experience fishing miles offshore with no land in sight! Not every charter has the required federal permits to fish these waters, but we do. Most of our offshore trips travel at least 10 miles offshore, exploring reefs, ledges, and productive fishing grounds.

Thermocline Charters is based in Clearwater and departs from Belleair Causeway Boat Ramp.

Fish aboard our 27-foot ProKat catamaran, powered by twin 300 HP outboards. Our spacious, seaworthy boat accommodates up to six anglers.

Whether you're bringing the family, introducing someone to fishing, or are an experienced angler, Capt. Dave will make every effort to provide a fun and memorable day on the water.

Choose from 8, 10, or 12 hour offshore trips targeting Grouper, Snapper, Triggerfish, Amberjack, and other Gulf species, depending on the season and conditions. We use a variety of techniques, including bottom fishing, trolling, drifting, and jigging.

Your trip includes fishing licenses, rods, reels, bait, and tackle. Our boat features modern navigation, radar, sonar, a trolling motor, and plenty of cooler space for your food, drinks, and catch.

Keep your catch as long as it meets current regulations and is in season. We'll even clean, fillet, and bag your fish at no additional charge!
