Make the most of your time in L'Ampolla and go fishing with Delterral Fishing Trips.
Amberjack, Bluefish (Tailor), Skipjack, Dentex, Mahi Mahi, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Bluefin Tuna, Seabream, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Gerard also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Capt. Gerard welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll be fishing aboard a 21' Otero y Losada sportfishing vessel with space for 4 passengers. It has downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
