Jossi Tours
Book your next trip with Jossi Tours and find out what makes the fishing in San Juan Del Sur so unique. Having logged many hours on these tides, the captain can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Yellowfin Tuna, Pacific Crevalle Jack, Roosterfish, Sierra Mackerel, Needlefish, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!"
On these trips, you can expect to drift using light or heavy tackle.
Children are welcome aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so please check if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 28' Sportfishing with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials.
Your captain will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to help make sure everything runs smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and while tipping is not required, a 10–20% tip is customary and always appreciated.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
And that's it! Your fishing trip with Jossi Tours is just a click away.
