Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Cobia, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Speckled Trout, Redfish, Tripletail, and more could be biting if you come at the right time of year.
During the trip you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Capt. Blake operates a 27' Center console with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Capt. Blake will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
