Diverse Boat Hire & Charters

Looking to go fishing in Nelson? Diverse Boat Hire & Charters is here to make it happen! Your guide for the day is Captain Shengxue (Noah), allowing you to benefit from their local experience.

You're likely to go after Blue Cod, Pink Snapper, Yellowtail Amberjack, Gurnard, and more if you come at the right time of year.

You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you're traveling with the family, youwill be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!

You'll be fishing aboard a 17' Aluminum fishing that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.

Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

And that's it! Your fishing trip with Diverse Boat Hire & Charters is just a click away.
