"There were seven of us on the trip and Capt Marwan made sure that each caught a nice fish, not to mention the few we managed to lose after hooking." — Kęstutis,
Jordan offers diverse fishing experiences, from freshwater adventures in the Jordan River to saltwater excursions in the Red Sea. The Jordan River is renowned for its shoreline, kayak, and boat fishing, targeting species like trout, bass, catfish, and panfish. Its accessible banks and winding channels provide ideal conditions for both beginners and seasoned anglers.
Along the Red Sea coast, particularly near Aqaba, deep-sea fishing charters deliver thrilling opportunities. Anglers regularly catch species such as tuna, octopus, reef fish, and even small sharks. These guided trips leverage the Gulf of Aqaba's rich marine ecosystem for memorable offshore adventures.
For unique inland experiences, Wadi Al Mujib combines fishing with cultural immersion—angling in freshwater streams followed by grilling the catch. While specialized and patience-driven, it highlights Jordan's blend of tradition and nature. Whether pursuing bass in northern rivers or pelagics in southern seas, Jordan's scenic landscapes and varied fisheries cater to all angling preferences.
