Our 2.5-hour family fishing trip offers a fun and exciting introduction to ocean fishing for beginners, families & kids (ages 7+). Please Note: Due to declining striper population we do not target Striped Bass on our trips. We will target a variety of different inshore species depending on the time of year, including Cod, Pollock and Mackerel, after which we will haul our lobster traps.
A family-friendly trip, exploring the inshore waters and You'll be targeting Mackerel, Pollock, and groundfish. Up to 6 people. A sightseeing tour of Somes Sound can be part of the trip. This trip is specifically for fishing only. If you would like to include a lobster demonstration, please book a custom 1/ 2 day or full day. Mate Gratuity is not Included. Seasonal.
Fish for Striper then head over to the crew's Lobster traps for an experience to remember. Any 'keeper' Lobster is yours to take home. Lobster fishing isn't available on Sundays. If available, the departure times can be customized to meet clients' requests.
Shark: This is our specialty. We love introducing anglers to big game fishing in Maine. We have lots of toothy critters in these waters. We average several sharks per trip, with many in the 200-300lb range. These only run on weekends July 1- September 28, so book early.
