California Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) Fishing Charters

We'll be fishing one of our local reservoirs, rivers, or streams (subject to availability and conditions). Possible lakes and reservoirs include El Capitan, Hodges, Miramar, Murray, Otay, and San Vicente. All required lake permits are included in the trip. NOTE: Due to mismanagement by our water districts, some reservoirs may not be available, and your trip details may be adjusted. If our reservoirs are currently unavailable, or just downright not good, I may suggest we do something else.

If you can think of nothing better than cruising down one of NorCal's famous rivers, this is the trip for you! depending on the season, which fish can be caught and where may differ, but target species could include Rainbow Trout, Salmon, Striped Bass, and Sturgeon. You'll be able to fish in one of 3 rivers: the Sacramento River, Feather River, or Yuba River. Capt. Pete will be in touch after you book to discuss these details with you. All your fishing gear is included, so just bring a license.

On this trip, you'll be using conventional tackle with bait and lures to catch some gigantic Rainbow Trout. This trip is best for brand new anglers and budding fishermen, or more experienced anglers who are just looking to enjoy the plentiful fishing grounds (and huge Trout!) of the Sacramento River. Your guide Jacob will provide top-notch rods and reels, bait, lures, and tackle for you.

Make the most of the numerous productive waterways that make up Stockton and California's freshwater fishing grounds. You're in for a treat as you spend 8 hours exploring the Delta, the Mokelumne, Calaveras, American, and Stanislaus Rivers, testing your fly fishing skills from the boat to land a prized Bass or Trout. On this trip, you'll even have the benefit of stopping for lunch in the delta to recharge your batteries, on a true Californian freshwater adventure.

We will fish for 4 hours and visit various locations in the area that will provide ample opportunities for prized Trout while surrounded by some of the best views on the globe. ** Meeting time and locations may vary depending on conditions, your needs and where/when the fish are biting.

We will be fishing for 6 hours, typically boarding at 5 or 6a.m. depending on the season and back to the boat ramp by noon. I am also offering afternoon trips of the same duration.

We will be fishing any one of our local reservoirs, rivers or streams (pending availability). Lakes/Reservoirs could be, but not limited to: El Capitan, Hodges, Miramar, Murray, Otay, and San Vicente Lake permits are included.

We offer private fishing charters for your friends and family which makes these trips more special and memorable. All tackle is provided with no extra charge and we fillet your catch at the end of the trip. The boat was built for total relaxation with a big platform in the back to stand up, walk around, and we provide chairs in the back to sit down where all the action is taking place. The boat has a beautiful canvas that provides shade for those hot summer days with plenty of seating.
