Caught 110 pound blue marlin and was the experience of a lifetime for my son who really wanted to catch that exact fish. fantastic experience overall because of the captain and crew. They also made great recommendations were to have lunch after and we really enjoyed their stories. make sure to bring non-spray sunscreen so the boat deck doesn’t get slippery. bare feet is the best when you’re walking around on the boat deck as you get the best feel and balance.

The captain and his mate were very knowledgeable about the waters around the Big Island, ran a very safe boat, and we hooked and released a blue marlin that might have been bug enough to win the tournament going on that day off Kailua-Kona. All in all, a great day on the water. Would definitely fish with them again.

Great crew with pro experience. You get right on the fish quick trolling out of the harbor. The boat is super comfortable and big with top notch equipment to fish with. They have the best lures ready and use them according to conditions properly. I’ll be back in Kona and fish with them again next year.

The crew really made an effort to get me hooked up to a Marlin. We followed birds and bait fish, tried to catch live bait, we trolled all over, changed tackle. Unfortunately the Marlin just wasn’t there for us, but caught a real nice Mahi. I can’t say enough for their attitude and effort. And they took time to educate me on the skills to catch the big fish that never showed. You can tell they love what they do. The boat was one of the nicest charter boats I have been on. Clean and organized and a very comfy couch. Highly recommend this boat if you want a crew that will work hard for you.

We know nothing about fishing, but this team, made it super comfortable for us to learn. My daughter and I had a once in a life time memory. Captain Sean and partner Summer did everything to catch a Marlin. YES! They made it happen and made our day. They love fishing and they enjoyed taking us out. Even if we didn’t catch anything it was well worth it. The views, the ocean, the weather. Now I understand why this Island is the best place in the world to catch marlin.

Sean and Jason were a terrific crew. Six of us, including a four-year-old and a six-year-old. I'm not saying bringing kids that small was a great idea (for us) but Sean and Jason were wonderfully supportive and friendly. After nearly three hours of trolling, we landed a 40-poundish shortbill spearfish and watched as Sean and Jason went into action to help us bring it on board. After the trip, they fileted it for us and packaged it. Five stars all around. Highly recommended.

Simply amazing! I have never fished the Pacific - purple waters, dolphins!!! It was such a beautiful day! We didn’t catch anything but we did get a Wahoo on the line and lost him! The captain and first mate were very cool and knew what they were doing. You can tell they have spent years in the water and can answer any questions! They obviously love their jobs. When the fish hit the line you would have thought it was their first fish! It was beautiful and amazing and I would highly recommend going fishing with Fire Hatt!!!

Charter was professional and on point. Crew instruction and execution outstanding. Summer our deck hand was hustling. Found a pod of Dolphins and fished thru for a Ahi hit we missed the hook. Then came the 35 lb Mahi . Nice fight and good land, perfect filet and pack for cooler. Highly recommend, even if no fish landed

Had a great time on the water today with Captain Chuck,William and Chris. Captain Chuck is a legend to talk to and William and Chris bring amazing fishing knowledge and are amazing crew. While we didn’t get bites today we had a fantastic time on the water seeing whales,dolphins,schools of ahi etc. . That at the end of the day is fishing 🎣 some days you don’t the bite but it’s alright! Thanks for a great time! Ozzie and Cora

Captain Sean and his First Mate Jay went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic day. Everyone in our party reeled in a catch and eating very well tonight. Highly recommend this boat and crew to anyone wanting a great day of fishing.
