Tillbringa dagen med Papa Woody's Charters och låt honom visa dig vad som gör fisket i Flaming Gorge så oförglömligt! Med många timmar på vattnet kan kapten Eric berätta allt om det lokala fisket. Jag har nyligen anslutit mig till kapten Dan och guideteamet på Cedar Springs Marina. Med all vår samlade kunskap och erfarenhet får du en chans att fånga en trofé-fisk.
Beroende på säsong kan du få napp på Kanadaröding, Kokanee-lax, Smallmouth Bass, Öring och Regnbåge (Steelhead). Under turen kan du ägna dig åt spinning, trolling, jiggfiske eller bottenfiske beroende på vilken art du vill fånga.
Familjer som älskar att fiska tillsammans kommer att bli glada att höra att barn är välkomna ombord! Flytvästar i barnstorlek finns tillgängliga. Kunder uppmanas att ta med snacks så att ingen blir gnällig på tom mage!
Ditt fartyg för dagen är en 21' Hewescraft som kan ta upp till 4 fiskare och har en uppvärmd kajuta för de kyliga dagarna och de friska morgonturerna. Den är utrustad med ekolod, live scope, downriggers och allt du behöver för en produktiv dag på vattnet. Din kapten tillhandahåller spön och rullar, tillsammans med beten och agn.
Innan du kliver ombord måste du köpa ett lokalt fisketillstånd för alla i din grupp. Denna information finns vanligtvis tillgänglig online, eller så kan du fråga kaptenen.
Några viktiga saker att ta med är solglasögon, solskydd (ej spray) och kamera. Väderlämpliga kläder krävs. Det kommer att finnas några drycker att erbjuda, men du är också välkommen att ta med dina egna. Alkohol är inte tillåtet.

5-timmars fiske (FM) den May 14, 2026 • 1 vuxenI fished with Eric 5/14/2026. A beautiful day . Right off , at the dock I was impressed with his boat and equipment .Top notch , all well maintained. We started out fishing for Kokanee and were pretty much into fish all morning. Though I didn't keep track, I know I caught 20 plus . When a very large lake trout tried to inhale a Kokanee I was reeling in only to let go by the boat, we decided to fish for lake trout . In less than 15 minutes I boated a 33 inch 19 pound laker which I released and then a nice "eating size" 25 inches which I kept. All in all a great day. I normally don't do guided trips but Eric did a great job and I hope to fish with him again.

Then we went fishing for several hours and caught so many fish we lost count! Captain Eric was a great guy and his fishing boat was very impressive. We’re looking forward to coming back next year. Thank you for such an incredible experience! We highly recommend.

Fishing was fun, the scenery was beautiful, the boat was very comfortable and nice and the captain was very accommodating. I will be fishing with him again in the future. The entire experience was great! Highly recommended!

We spent the morning chasing after lake trout, that were big teases! We were only able to bring 1 on board before heading out to find the salmon and a quicker pace. It took us a minute to find them, but with his afternoon open, Captain Eric kept us on the water until we had caught our limit. The only bad thing about our day on the lake with Eric, was when our adventure was over. 10/10 would recommend booking a trip! Thanks for a fun day, Eric! See you in June for the sons trip, Denise 😉

Eric was a great guide. We chose to fish for Kokanee rather than Lake Trout. He knew where they were, and we had slow, but steady success throughout the day. When our time was up, and we were a little short of our limits, he extended the time so that we all caught our limits. Eric was, pleasant, competent, and professional. He couldn’t have done a better job.
The fishing was very slow yet captain Eric was optimistic and persistent. He instructed and guided with kindness and great knowledge about the lake and local fishing. The experience was very enjoyable and at the very end we finally caught a real lunker. Any other guide would have been packing up 10 min before the time slot was over. Big credit of a lifetime memory goes to captain Eric. Thank you. We’re coming back for sure!
We caught about 7-8 pups in Flaming Gorge. Captain was very nice and hands on. His boat was well equipped with the fishing gear needed. We met at the marina and had no issues finding each other. He was a good guide who wanted us to catch the big one! Great experience for my husband and I! Thanks captain woody!
