Beroende på när du åker är det troligt att du fiskar efter Common Pandora, Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Guldsparid, Makrill, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Makohaj, Albacore, Storögd tonfisk, Svartfenad tonisk, Blåfenad tonfisk, Skipjack Tuna och mer. För dessa arter är det troligt att du trollar och bottenfiskar med lätt eller tung utrustning.
Funderar du på att ta med hela familjen? Barn är absolut välkomna! Barn måste bära flytväst, så ta reda på om rätt storlek finns ombord. Om du har husdjur (hund, katt) är de också välkomna ombord. Du är välkommen att ta med snacks – lyckligtvis kommer Capt. Carlos att ha lite ombord!
Capt. Carlos välkomnar dig ombord på ett 32' Rodman sportfiskebåt som kan ta upp till 6 passagerare. Den är utrustad med utriggare, en fiskarstol och allt det väsentliga. Det finns en toalett ombord för din bekvämlighet, ett sovrum och en liten salong för vila och avkoppling. Även ett litet kök. Capt. Carlos har spön och rullar till ditt förfogande, samt beten. Levande bete ingår, men det är bra att fråga om detta så att du vet om du kommer att fånga det själv.
Turerna genomförs med hjälp av en styrman.
Det finns inget behov av att köpa ett fiskekort, kom bara redo för lite fiske! Tänk på att vissa fiskar kan ha fångstbegränsningar eller fredningstider. Om du inte vet vad du kan förvänta dig, fråga kaptenen.
Några viktiga saker att ta med är solglasögon, en hatt och solskydd (ej spray). Drycker ingår, utan extra kostnad. Alkohol är tillåtet i måttliga mängder, men se till att undvika starksprit samt glasflaskor. Det kommer att finnas mat och några lätta snacks tillgängliga ombord.

The boat is one of the best i have ever chartered, clean and comfortable. The service on boat is excellent- very good food and all drinks perfect cold. The equipment on board is a fishermans dream, high end rods and reels in very good shape. They gave 120% too make the trip unforgetable. Next year i will come again, because i have a open bill with this marlin. Thank you Carlos for 3 great days, it was a real pleasure.

The entire crew was wonderful, the people were great, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. A massive thanks to our captain, who was excellent and made the trip truly memorable. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to catch tuna in the Algarve—a perfect five-star day!

I understand that fishing is never guaranteed, and the bite was very difficult that day. We were told that only 2 out of about 15 boats caught BFT. However, the trip felt quite passive from a customer’s point of view. In the morning, shallow trolling around 5–10 meters made sense because there were birds, some surface activity, and marks on the fish finder. But after midday, when there was no more surface activity, the sonar showed large marks several times around 30–45 meters. We asked more than once whether we could try deeper trolling, but this was not attempted. Maybe this was the captain’s professional judgment, but it was not clearly explained to us. The boat was safe, the captain was polite, and he gave us a discount at the end, which we appreciated. Still, we expected a more flexible strategy and better communication when the fish were not biting.

Despite the effort of the captain and the crew, we were not able to get them onboard. Many thanks to Captain Cavaco for the nice experience. we will definitely do it again.
